You may have never heard of our home.

It's a small, green country in the heart of Europe called Slovenia.

But there's something special about where we come from.

Slovenia has more beekeepers per person than any other country in the world.

Here, bees are more than just insects. They're part of who we are.

For hundreds of years, families in Slovenia have cared for bees with love and respect. It's a way of life passed down from one generation to the next.

It was Slovenia that proposed World Bee Day to the United Nations.

Growing up in Slovenia, you learn just how much these tiny creatures do for us.
